Felicia Ford was born in St. Louis, Missouri where she lived for six years. She grew up south of St. Louis, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Ms. Ford earned an athletic scholarship for track and field to Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. She received her Bachelor Art degree in Political Science in 1996 from Murray State University. Ms. Ford has always been passionate about the law and dreamed of becoming a lawyer. In an effort to realize her dreams, Ms. Ford moved to Michigan to attend law school. She received her Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley law school in Lansing, Michigan in 2002. She has been licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri since 2004. In 2006, Ms. Ford attended Washington University where she received a certificate for civil mediation.

Ms. Ford's previous work experience includes law clerk for Cape Girardeau County Prosecutor, St. Louis City Family Drug Court Attorney, Counsel for HotSpot Entertainment, and Counsel for NALSR, LLC. She has consulted with numerous colleagues and small business owners in their business endeavors.

Ms. Ford has an extensive background in business consulting, estate planning, criminal and traffic defense as well as worker's compensation insurance defense. She has also worked as an associate attorney for two insurance defense firms that specialized in worker's compensation, Kortenhof & Ely, P.C. and Simon & Hudson, P.C. where she represented employer's and insurance companies.Ms. Ford has experience in preparing trademarks and setting up non-profits.
